LIFELINE - BEN HARPER & THE INNOCENT CRIMINALS

Recebi via e-mail um acesso para ouvir inteiro o novo album do Ben Harper & the Innocent Criminals. Eu sou suspeita gosto dele desde o primeiro CD que me foi apresentado pelo meu amigo querido Tuco Marcondes em 1995 ou 96, não me lembro bem o ano exato, só sei que minha vida tem acompanhado cada CD lançado pelo Ben Harper desde o “Welcome to the Cruel World”. LIFELINE é o nome desse novo CD, mais uma vez senti uma certa ligação entre minha vida e a música do Ben Harper...
Ouvi tudinho logo de manhã...chegando no trabalho, adorei. Segue o track list e uma observação do Ben Harper....notem: este cd foi gravado e feito em Paris....engraçado Paris está se tornando assunto recorrente... será mais um sinal ????

”I had always wanted to make a record in Paris....because it's Paris. And I had always wanted to make a record directly coming off of a tour. It just makes sense. You've got all your best equipment and your musical abilities are never as sharp or as heightened as when you've been consistently on the road.

So after 9 months of touring, and at the close of an 8 week tour of Europe, my band The Innocent Criminals and I loaded directly off the road and into an elegantly humble recording studio in Paris called "Studio Gang." The record, entitled Lifeline, was recorded and mixed in 7 days on a 16 track analog tape machine. There were no computers or pro-tools used anywhere in the process.”
